Water on the fridge floor from the defrost drain. A defrost drain that clogs or freezes sends meltwater onto the fridge floor or under the crisper drawers. We clear and flush the drain, check the drain heater, and make sure the water reaches the pan underneath.
Door not sealing after years of use. A torn or stiff gasket lets warm, damp air in, so frost builds in the freezer and the compressor rarely rests. We check the seal with a strip of paper around the door, replace the gasket if needed, and set the doors level with each other.
