The DLE6100W is an electric, vented dryer with Sensor Dry and a FlowSense duct-clogging indicator. Those features answer different questions: how the drying cycle is progressing, and whether the exhaust path may be restricted. LG DLE6100 specifications.
If there is a FlowSense warning, save its exact code before changing the cycle. Do not turn it into a parts order for a heater or moisture sensor.
A clean screen is only one section of the air path
LG’s error guide groups d80, d90 and d95 with restricted exhaust airflow. It identifies lint buildup and crushed or kinked ductwork as checks, and notes that long routes or multiple bends can be hard to assess from the laundry room. LG dryer error-code guidance.
With the machine off and cool, clean the lint screen as directed. Look only at duct sections you can reach safely. Do not move a heavy dryer against its cord or dismantle a concealed duct to investigate.
LG specifically says not to use a dryer with a severely restricted exhaust until the system has been cleaned and repaired. A persistent d90 or d95 warning needs attention, not another hot cycle to see whether it clears. LG d90 and d95 instructions.
When the complaint is an early finish
If no exhaust warning is present, describe whether Sensor Dry ends with damp clothes or whether every cycle takes too long. Include the selected cycle and the load type. That tells us whether to start at the sensor bars or at the heat and airflow.
Keep the filter installed and avoid opening the cabinet. An electrician or appliance technician should handle supply measurements and internal electrical checks.
LG laundry service and dryer diagnostics are available through ADRIUM. When booking, say whether there is a warning code or only a drying complaint, and whether the exhaust has already been professionally checked. The diagnostic visit is $99, credited toward an approved repair.
