The code points to a system, not a part

On a Miele G Series dishwasher, F11 directs the diagnosis toward the drain path, while F12 and F13 point toward intake and fill. We still test the components and connections in that system. The display alone does not justify a parts order.

AutoDos and wash-result complaints start with the selected program, loading, spray-arm clearance, filter state, and dosing setting. We keep those observations separate from an electrical diagnosis.

During the first visit, we record the model and serial, reproduce the condition when it is safe, review fault history, and test the system named by the code. We also inspect the supply, drain connection, visible hoses, door seal, and installation. A drain code can still come from a blockage outside the pump, and wet dishes can follow loading or program conditions rather than a failed heater.

A written diagnosis and price

The diagnostic visit costs $99 and includes additional appliances checked during that same visit. It is credited toward an approved repair. The fault and repair price are written down before work begins.

If the waterproof or leak-protection system is active, stop running cycles and close the supply valve if it is safe to reach. Repeated resets can add water without resolving the source. Leave the displayed code available for the technician rather than clearing it several times.
