- Star Burner ignitor and spark module. Moisture exposure shortens the life of the ignitor and spark module compared to what we see inland. We test the module before replacing it since a corroded connector can mimic a dead ignitor.
- Control board corrosion and intermittent faults. Range and oven control boards near the harbor can develop intermittent faults from moisture getting into the housing over years. We check for corrosion on the board itself before assuming it is a straight electronic failure.
