Common repairs we handle.

Slow cooling loss on a 600 or 700 series. One side drifts warm while the other holds. With two refrigeration systems in one cabinet, one side can fail alone. Our technician, who is EPA 608 Type I certified, listens to the compressor cycle, reads the suction line temperature and pulls the lower kickplate to see the evaporator before calling it a leak.
Full sealed-system rebuild on a 501F. When an early built-in like the 501F loses its sealed system, the lasting fix is a new compressor and evaporator, brazed, evacuated and recharged as one complete job. Rust on the cabinet gets a look too. Sanding and repainting the body panels can be quoted as part of the same rebuild.
Inlet valve slowed by mineral build-up. Moderately hard water leaves a crust at the valve screen that throttles the fill until the ice mold comes up short. We measure supply pressure, clean or replace the valve, and run the ice maker through a full harvest before we close the grille.
