KF Column Defrost Drain Clog. The KF columns in San Ramon's newer builds clog at the defrost drain just like anywhere else, water backing up behind the evaporator and showing on the floor somewhere that doesn't point straight back to the fridge. Since we're local, I can usually get out same day and clear the drain and check the heater element before it causes real floor damage.
MasterCool Column Running Warm or Icing Up. In the bigger City Center-area homes, a warm MasterCool compartment brings me in more than any other single issue, and I check the evaporator fan and coil temperature split before deciding if it's a fan or a sealed-system leak worth chasing.
G Series Dishwasher Drain Pump, Inlet Valve, and Control Faults. These dishwashers run quiet for years in San Ramon's newer kitchens, and when they finally stop it's the drain pump, the inlet valve, or a control fault. I pull the code off the display first, since we're right here and there's no excuse for a second visit to figure out what I should've caught the first time.
