- Lid switch failures on shared-building Bravos washers. Machine clicks but won't start a wash. Common in the apartment buildings near San Pablo Avenue. Switch on the truck, in and out.
- Bravos gearbox-bearing job. Spin howl and walk on heavily used machines, whether it's a shared building unit or a hillside house that's put twenty years on the same washer. The quote covers the whole gearbox-and-spider job, not just the noisy part, so it doesn't come back on you in six months.
- Centennial dryer glide, belt, idler kit. Worn glides on a dryer that's been running a long vent path in one of the older San Pablo Avenue buildings. In one trip I swap the glides, belt, and idler together and clean out whatever vent run I can reach.
- MRT/MFI top-freezer defrost or evap fan. A call because the fridge box warmed while the freezer still holds cold, hillside or flats. Usually that traces to the defrost thermostat or a bad evap fan motor. I carry both.

The belt on my Centennial dryer is new, so why does it still drag?
Almost always the drum glides and idler weren't done with the belt, or the vent run is choked, which happens on some of the older El Cerrito buildings with long duct runs. Glides, belt, and idler go in as a matched set, and I check the vent too, skip that and the drag just returns.
