Can you service the bin and dispenser as well as the Manitowoc head?

Yes. Storage bins and dispensers are part of the Manitowoc line we cover. We look at the whole setup on the same visit, since a bin problem can look like an ice maker problem from the front.

Our Old Town building has an older drain setup. Will that affect an ice machine?

It can. An ice machine and bin need a proper drain with an air gap and enough slope. In an older building the drain may be undersized or shared with other fixtures. We check it during the diagnostic and tell you if it needs a plumber before we replace any ice machine part.

A Manitowoc setup is really two pieces: the ice maker on top, and the storage bin or dispenser under it. When the ice stops, people look at the head first, but plenty of trouble starts below it. Common repairs we handle.

Bin drain backing up under the machine. Meltwater from the bin has to leave through the drain, and a clogged or poorly sloped line backs it up into the bin. Ice sits in water, clumps and goes cloudy. We clear the line, check the air gap and the slope, and clean and sanitize the bin.
Head that runs with the bin full, or stops too early. The ice maker relies on the bin level control to know when to stop. A stuck or dirty control lets ice pile into the chute, or shuts the machine off with the bin half empty. We test the control, clean it, and replace it if it no longer reads correctly.
Dispenser that jams or pours slowly. On an ice dispenser, clumped ice, a worn agitator or a sticking gate slows or stops the pour. Clumping usually traces back to meltwater or a bin temperature problem, so we fix that first, then repair the moving parts and test a full run of dispensing.
