A UE on these machines points us at the suspension first. We run it through a service cycle and feel the rods before we touch a parts list, because worn rods read like a balance problem but aren't one you can fix by reloading. On the fridge side, older LG French-doors in Old Sunnyvale hit the linear-compressor no-cool, and we read the serial against LG's settlement program, since the covered class is the 2014 to 2017 build window. Newer units fail at the evap-fan and icemaker instead.

- Dual-inverter washer LE motor fault. Rotor-position sensor drift trips the code. Sensor replaced and tested in one visit.
- UE unbalance fault. We diagnose this off the machine. A service cycle plus a hands-on rod check tells us whether the suspension is worn before any part gets ordered.
- Linear-compressor no-cool on older French-doors. Runs but won't pump. Verify the serial against LG's program, quote labor first.
- Icemaker and evap-fan on newer fridges. The common failure points on post-2020 LG. Both are quick swaps with a verified cycle after.
