Pump bearings near the seven-year mark. If the machine is around seven years old and the pump gets loud on startup, the bearings are going. We replace the pump assembly while it still works, since the impeller cracks when the bearing fails.
Warm sushi case or prep table. The thermistor in the discharge airflow drifts and the unit holds several degrees above setpoint. We check with a reference thermometer, replace the sensor with a calibrated part and confirm the temperature settles.
