Relay and run capacitor are same-visit parts off the van, and I check ventilation clearance so the replacement is not a repeat customer.
Gasket leaks on high-use apartment fridges. Apartment-size Haier units near downtown get heavy daily use, and the door gasket flattens at the handle corner within a few years. Frost on the freezer wall and nonstop compressor runtime follow. I replace the gasket and square the door, and the unit usually drops back to normal cycling immediately.
Control board and sensor drift on newer electronic models. Newer Haier models installed during Menlo Park remodels use electronic controls that drift with age, setpoint says 37 while the cabinet holds 45. I verify with a calibrated probe, test the sensor before condemning the board, and quote only the part that actually failed.
