Rodeo sits on the eastern shore of San Pablo Bay, and the Bayo Vista and Oleum areas are mostly small to mid-size houses and townhomes, many built between 1940 and 1969. In a compact kitchen a GE refrigerator may be boxed in on three sides with little room behind it, which makes its condenser work harder and makes the water line easy to kink when the fridge is pushed back.
We also take calls in Crockett and Port Costa. All three towns are handled by our technician, who is based in Benicia. The first step is the $99 diagnostic, credited toward the repair if you go ahead, followed by a written quote. We are licensed under CSLB #1136642 and independent of GE.
Water and ice systems

Common repairs we handle.
- Fridge running nonstop in a tight cabinet. With little air around it, the condenser coil collects dust and the condenser fan runs hot. The fridge runs longer and still falls behind. We clean the coil, test the fan motor and the board that drives it, and check what the compressor is being told to do before blaming the compressor.
- Water on the floor behind the refrigerator. The water inlet valve feeds both the dispenser and the ice maker. Its fittings can seep, and a kinked or cracked supply line behind a fridge pushed tight to the wall does the same. We pull the fridge out, find the wet fitting, and replace the valve or the line.
- Profile dishwasher leaving water in the tub. Standing water after a cycle usually means a clogged filter, a blocked drain hose or a failing drain pump. We clean the filter, check the hose and its connection under the sink, then test the pump. On a Profile, we also check the base pan for signs of a pump seal leak.

Do you also cover Crockett and Port Costa?
Yes, both. Crockett is on EBMUD water like Rodeo. Port Costa gets treated water from the Contra Costa Water District instead, so we note which supply you are on when we look at a GE valve or ice maker there. -
Our Bayo Vista townhome kitchen is tight. Can you still pull the fridge out?
Yes. We protect the floor, walk the fridge out, and work on it in place if there is no room to turn it. Let us know when you book if the water shutoff is hard to reach. -
What if we decide not to repair after the diagnostic?
Then the $99 diagnostic is all you pay, and you keep the written findings. If you do go ahead, that $99 is credited toward the repair.
