We test the valve and the inverter board's signal to the compressor before any sealed-system work. Our technician is EPA 608 Type I certified if refrigerant work is needed.
- Profile induction burner that drops out mid-cook. The PHP900 and PHP960 cool their power board with a small fan. If the vent space under the cooktop gets blocked by a drawer insert or stored pans, the board overheats and a zone quits or throws a fault. We clear the airflow and read the board temperature before replacing anything expensive.

Does soft EBMUD water mean I can skip cleaning the GE dishwasher filter?
No. Soft water leaves less scale, but food and grease still collect in the filter at the bottom of the tub. On a Profile dishwasher a clogged filter shows up as gritty dishes and slow draining. Rinse it about once a month. -
