- 200 series oven door dropping out of alignment. On BO 250 and similar 200 series ovens the drop-down door hinges wear at the pivot, and the door starts closing with a gap at the top. Heat loss follows, then longer cook times, then a gasket burned from the leak. We replace the hinge pair and gasket together, because replacing one without the other wastes the repair.
- Vario induction module throwing an error and shutting off. VI 482 induction modules shut down with an error code when the electronics overheat or a coil circuit fails. In older Martinez homes we often find the real cause is a cabinet install with no ventilation gap, cooking the module from below. We fix the fault and the airflow, otherwise the new board dies the same death.
- Steam oven running weak steam after years without descaling.
