Condenser coil fouled inside an outdoor kitchen enclosure. An outdoor kitchen unit built into stone or tile surround often traps dust and pollen from the surrounding landscaping right at the condenser coil intake. Once that coil is fouled, the unit can't reject heat properly, so head pressure and amp draw climb every cycle, and the run capacitor is usually the first part to fail since it's the weakest electrical link in the circuit.
Water line or drain gradually restricted. Hillside estate properties in Saratoga often run on well water or have harder municipal supply than the flatter parts of the South Bay, and that builds scale in the fill valve faster than you'd expect for how lightly the unit gets used. The fault shows up as a low production error, easy to miss on a machine that only runs during entertaining.
Auger motor and gearbox worn despite infrequent use. I've opened up Saratoga units that see only a few hours of runtime a month and still find the auger flight worn or the gear train loose. Age and long idle stretches between uses wear the internals about as much as steady daily cycling does, so infrequent use doesn't buy much protection here.
