The buy decision comes down to install quality and price, and on both counts a Comfortmaker can be a sensible choice for a straightforward replacement.

What fails is the standard gas-furnace story. Cracked hot surface igniter. A flame sensor that carbons over and short-cycles the burner. A pressure switch or inducer motor at the end of a long run.
