It is more annoying than dangerous, but I would not ignore it. A worn door cam means the hinge carries the closing load unevenly, and the gasket usually starts leaking air not long after. I replace the cam and check both hinges when I see one has gone.

The door hinges and gaskets are what I see fail first in San Bruno more than in some other Peninsula towns, plain wear and tear from daily use in houses that open the fridge dozens of times a night rather than a few times a day.
