Atosa in Rodeo
Atosa commercial service.
Rodeo sits on the eastern shore of San Pablo Bay along Interstate 80 and State Route 4, and we take commercial refrigeration calls here and in Crockett and Port Costa. For a small operation, one Atosa reach-in or prep table can be the whole cold line, so a warm box can stop the day.
Atosa builds to a price, and the fixes usually match it: an evaporator fan, a gasket, a controller, a clogged drain, or bolts that have worked loose. We tell you plainly when a repair makes sense and when a big-ticket failure does not. The technician covering Rodeo is based in Benicia. A $99 diagnostic starts the job and is credited toward the repair, and ADRIUM holds EPA 608 Universal certification for anything on the refrigerant side.
Common repairs we handle.
- Warm box with a silent evaporator fan. If the compressor runs but no air moves inside, the evaporator fan has stopped or frozen in place. We check the motor, the blade and the wiring, clear any ice, and replace the motor if it has burned out.
- Temperature alarm after a power interruption. After an outage, a controller can come back with a lost setting, a stuck alarm or a sensor fault. We check the settings, test the sensor against a probe thermometer, and replace the controller only if it will not hold its program.
- Gasket torn at the hinge corner. The corner nearest the hinge takes the most flexing, and a tear there leaks cold air out and moist air in. We replace the gasket, adjust the door so it lands evenly, and defrost the evaporator if ice has already built up.

FAQ
Atosa in Rodeo questions, answered.
-
Do you cover Crockett and Port Costa for commercial refrigeration too?
Yes. Crockett and Port Costa are part of the same area, and the diagnostic, the written quote and the repair work the same way there as in Rodeo. -
Our Atosa is our only fridge. What happens while a part is on order?
If the fault allows it, we leave the unit holding a safe temperature, for example after a manual defrost or a cleaned coil. If it cannot be trusted with food, we tell you plainly so you can move product. -
Why does our Atosa ice up again a few weeks after a defrost?
Because the defrost treated the symptom. Recurring ice means warm air is getting in or the defrost system is not clearing the coil on its own. We check the gasket and the door first, then the defrost heater, the sensor and the controller.
