What we close on the truck.
- Broiler ignitor and thermocouple, second-kitchen units. The Emerald Hills pattern is a Z-Line that sits unused between visits and then runs heavy during a party or a house guest stay. That on-off cycling on the infrared broiler wears the ignitor and the thermocouple above it out together. I replace both and bench-test the gas valve micro-switch so the fix holds.
- Hood touch-pad going intermittent. Downtown lofts and Emerald Hills kitchens both bring me this one. Grease creeps through the seam around the capacitive touch pad and the fan speed buttons start skipping or sticking on one setting. I clean and reseal the pad, and the control board only comes out if the sensors test dead after that.
- Refrigerator evap-fan motor. Fresh-food section running warm while the freezer stays cold and normal is almost always the evaporator fan motor losing speed or seizing. It's a straight swap once I've confirmed the compressor and sealed system are fine, which keeps the visit to one trip.

How does Peninsula coverage work for Redwood City?
Redwood City sits inside our Peninsula technician Sam's regular zone, right between San Carlos and Menlo Park. He's typically already routed through the area on a given week, so we're not sending a truck from San Ramon for a single call. We don't guarantee same-day, but being local here shortens the wait. -
We have a Z-Line in the guest suite and a different brand in the main kitchen. Can you handle both?
Yes. I work on Z-Line and the major built-in brands, so one visit can cover the guest-suite range and the main kitchen appliance if both need attention. You'll get a separate written quote for each before anything gets touched. -
