It gets into vent hoods, hinges, and exterior electrical connections and corrodes them years before they would fail anywhere else. WED/WGD dryer vent corrosion. Exterior vent hoods here rust out from salt air faster than the dryer itself wears out. Weak airflow or a tripped thermal fuse often traces back to a corroded hood or clamp instead of the machine, and I replace that outside hardware while I am in there.
WRF/WRX evap fan motor. Garage-kept fridges take the worst of the salt air on the condenser coil and fan blade. Freezer rattle and a fresh-food side losing its cool, motor and a coil cleaning in the same visit.
WFG surface igniter. Igniter contacts corrode and the burner clicks without catching, especially on ranges near a window that gets the ocean breeze. Stocked part, quick swap once I confirm it is the igniter and not the valve.
