San Bruno climbs the shoulder of San Bruno Mountain, and Rollingwood and the Portola District are full of homes built into that hillside with narrow streets and steep driveways. Down near Tanforan, where the old racetrack used to run before it became a shopping center and BART station, the housing flattens out and gets denser. Both ends run the same appliance mix: WRF fridges, Cabrio washers, WFE and WFG ranges.
The hillside houses make appliance work slower than it looks on paper, tight staircases and narrow side yards, so I plan extra time for those calls instead of rushing a fridge through a doorway it barely fits.

- Cabrio gearbox and lid switch. Washer fills, agitates a little, then stops mid-cycle, or will not spin at all. Bearing wear in the gearbox and a failed lid switch are the two things I check first, same fix Maytag uses on the Bravos.
- WFE/WFG range bake element or igniter. Oven will not heat, or a burner clicks without lighting. Both are stocked parts and both are same-visit fixes once I confirm which one it is with a meter.
- WRF/WRX evap fan motor. Freezer noise and a fridge section that will not hold temperature. Motor swap, usually done inside 30 minutes once I am in the house.
