Defrost bimetal failure on WRS side-by-sides. The freezer side grows a coat of frost on the back wall and the fridge side slowly warms. On WRS325 and similar side-by-sides the defrost bimetal is the usual suspect, with the heater itself second. I test both plus the board, because replacing only the bimetal when the heater is marginal means a callback in a month, and Hillsborough is not a street I want to revisit for the same fault.
Lid lock faults on WTW top loads. The lid lock light flashes, the washer refuses to start, and the clothes are trapped inside.
