Those units get compact and counter-depth Whirlpool refrigerators, stacked laundry, and 24-inch ranges, while the main house runs the full-size platform. Every fridge with a dispenser or ice maker has a water inlet valve. The fittings can leak under the cabinet, or the solenoid fails and the dispenser and ice maker stop getting water.

Compact and garage refrigerators that stop cooling. The small Whirlpool units in ADUs and garages fail differently than kitchen fridges. The common pattern is a seized condenser fan or a start relay that clicks every few minutes while the compressor refuses to run. Both are fast fixes when caught early. If the sealed system itself is down I can diagnose that too, since I am EPA 608 certified, and I will tell you plainly when a compact unit is cheaper to replace.
Moisture sensor failures ending dryer cycles damp. Whirlpool dryers with automatic sensing rely on two metal sensor bars inside the drum. Fabric softener film or a failed sensor makes the dryer think clothes are dry after ten minutes. I clean and test the bars, check the control response, and replace the sensor when readings stay flat, which beats the workaround of running timed cycles forever.
Range control lockups after power interruptions. Hillside properties here see more brief outages than the flats, and Whirlpool range boards sometimes come back from an outage with dead touchpads or an oven that will not start. A hard reset fixes some. When it does not, the control board has corrupted and needs replacement. I confirm the board is the true fault before quoting, because a tripped thermal fuse mimics the same symptoms.
