Where U-Line shows up is the bar and wine setups in the Rockridge, Montclair, and Crocker Highlands hill homes, built into island cabinetry or a basement bar during a remodel.
Those built-in U-Line units fail on airflow and water. The condenser coil cakes because the cabinet surround chokes it, and the symptom is a wine unit that holds one zone but drifts warm on the other. On the dual-zone models the damper actuator fails and both zones suddenly read the same. Undercounter ice makers stop on a kinked factory water line. We diagnose all of those without pulling the unit out of the cabinet.

- Condenser coil clean and fan-motor swap. Choked airflow in island and bar cabinetry. Clean the coil, replace the condenser fan, verify zone hold.
- Dual-zone damper actuator replacement. Both zones reading the same temperature. Replace the failed damper motor, recalibrate sensors, confirm split hold over a cycle.
- Undercounter ice maker no-ice. Kinked or pinched factory water line at the back. Replace with a longer braided line, confirm fill.
- Drain pump on ice units plumbed without a floor drain. Backed-up or dead pump on units that drain to a pump instead of gravity. Swap the pump and clear the line.
