Every fridge with a dispenser or ice maker has a water inlet valve. The fittings can leak under the cabinet, or the solenoid fails and the dispenser and ice maker stop getting water.

Thermistor reading wrong, wine held too warm. A Wine Captain that creeps from 55 to 63 degrees with a clean condenser and a running compressor is usually lying to itself through a drifted thermistor. I put a calibrated probe in the cabinet, compare it to what the control thinks, and meter the sensor against U-Line's resistance chart. Replacing the thermistor is a fraction of a control board and it is the right first move when the numbers say so.
Drain pump failure on clear ice machines. U-Line clear ice machines make ice by flowing water over a cold plate, and everything they do not freeze has to be pumped away. When the drain pump weakens, meltwater backs into the bin and the ice fuses into a block. Downtown Martinez bars know this failure well. I test pump output, clear the drain line, and check the float switch that tells the pump when to run.
Evaporator fan bearing noise. In a quiet older Martinez house, a U-Line fan with dry bearings announces itself, a whine that comes and goes with the compressor. Owners often live with the noise until the fan seizes and the cabinet goes warm. Replacing the motor at the noisy stage is cheap and planned. Replacing it after a weekend of 70 degree wine storage is neither.
