Star Burner spark but no flame. A burner clicks steadily and never lights. On Star Burners this is usually a clogged burner base from boil-over, a mispositioned cap, or a weak spark module feeding that position. I clean and re-seat the burner, test spark strength at the electrode, and replace the module only when it actually measures weak.
All six ignitors clicking nonstop. Turn on one burner and the whole cooktop chatters, sometimes even with everything off. A spark switch or an ignitor harness has moisture or a short pulling the ignition circuit low. I isolate the offending switch with a meter, replace it, and dry and inspect the harness so the fault does not migrate.
Freedom column warm-up and door alarms. The refrigeration columns drift warm or throw door alarms when the evaporator fan slows or the gasket loses its seal against a heavy panel-ready door. I check fan operation, defrost performance, and door alignment on the hinge cartridges before assuming anything worse. Most column calls end without touching the sealed system.
