Every ignitor fires when you light a single burner. The spark switches on a Pro Grand are wired so that one shorted switch triggers the entire bank. On 48-inch ranges with six burners plus a grill or griddle, finding the shorted switch by ear is guesswork, so we test the harness electrically. One visit, one switch or harness, done.
Freedom column showing frost or a temperature alarm. The 30-inch T30IR columns common in Fremont estates run a sensitive control system, and a failing evaporator fan or defrost heater shows up as frost buildup or alarm beeps long before food spoils. Catching it at the alarm stage is a normal repair. Waiting until the cabinet warms can mean a sealed-system job, which I am certified to do under EPA 608 Universal, but I would rather you not need it.
Griddle or grill section not heating on a Pro Grand. The griddle element and its thermostat fail independently of the burners, and owners often live without the griddle for a year before calling. The fix is usually the element or the control thermostat, both quotable in writing after a resistance and voltage check at the first visit.
