San Ramon is our home base, so I know these neighborhoods well. You have the big 1990s and 2000s subdivisions in Dougherty Valley and Gale Ranch, the older 1970s and 1980s homes around Twin Creeks and Country Club, and a lot of two-story floor plans that run Rheem and Ruud systems, often two zones or two full systems.

This is inland Tri-Valley, so summers get hot and the AC works hard, while the winter mornings are cold enough that the furnace cycles a lot. On the newer Dougherty Valley homes I usually find two-stage Ruud furnaces and high-SEER condensers, and the older homes run simpler single-stage units.

Since ADRIUM is based right here, San Ramon calls get our fastest response. We run HVAC through our Bay Area HVAC Service division, and I carry the common Ruud parts so most repairs close the same visit.

What we close on the truck.

Two-stage furnace and zone faults. On the Dougherty Valley homes the Ruud two-stage furnace and zone panel can fault, so one floor runs cold or the furnace stays on low. I test the board, staging, and dampers and replace what is failed.
Condenser capacitor failure. The Tri-Valley summer heat is hard on the Ruud outdoor unit, and the run capacitor fails so the AC will not start. I carry the right capacitor, replace it, and verify the charge and amp draw.
Draft-inducer motor wear. The inducer bearings wear and the furnace locks out on a pressure-switch error. I swap the inducer assembly from the truck and recheck the draft before I leave.
