Two faults bring us out here more than any other. First, the back-bar glass washers losing their hot rinse, which on Diablo Valley water is almost always scale building on the rinse-booster element, sometimes a failing rinse-aid pump. Second, beer warm at the tap while the glycol chiller reads normal, which means glycol that has drifted out of spec or trunk-line insulation gone wet on the long run to the tower. Propped doors during a downtown rush also stretch a gasket and ice a back-bar evaporator. We bring the glycol test kit, OEM gaskets, and a descale rig on the truck.

- Glass washer not rinsing hot, glasses spotting. Diablo Valley water scales the rinse-booster element until the rinse runs cool. We descale or replace the element, check the rinse-aid pump, and confirm rinse temperature before sign-off.
- Warm pour with the chiller reading normal. Drifted glycol or wet trunk-line insulation between the chiller and the tower. We test glycol, flush and recharge, and re-wrap the supply leg.
- Iced back-bar evaporator after service. A propped door stretches the gasket and warm air ices the coil. OEM gasket fitted, coil defrosted, temp confirmed on the same visit.
- Loose back-bar doors from nightly volume. Downtown service wears the cylinders and hinge cartridges. We carry both and rebuild the door when the panel still holds true.
