On a Friday night a dead Perlick stops pours and the bar bleeds. The two failures we see most downtown are warm beer at the tap with the glycol chiller still humming, and a C-Series undercounter that ices its evaporator after a busy weekend. Warm beer is usually drifted glycol concentration or trunk-line insulation that has soaked up condensate. The iced evap traces back to a door gasket stretched from staff propping the box open during rush.

- Beer system: warm taps with the chiller running. Check glycol percentage, flush if drifted, re-insulate the trunk leg between chiller and tower.
- C-Series undercounter evaporator ice-up. Stretched door gasket lets warm air in and ices the forced-air evap. We carry OEM 24 and 36 inch gaskets and swap in under 30 minutes.
- Sealed-system leak on an aged back-bar box. Leak test, EPA-certified recovery and recharge. Most general techs cannot do this part legally.
- Back-bar door hinge cartridge and cylinder wear. Heavy nightly use wears the hinge. We rebuild the door rather than replace if the panel is sound.

We are in San Ramon, 25 minutes up 680 to downtown Concord. We hold a regular Diablo Valley window for Concord, Pleasant Hill, and Walnut Creek, and we answer the phone Friday nights when a bar is down. -
