Our patio Perlick works fine in spring but runs warm every July. Why?
The unit may have enough capacity for mild days and too little margin for Clayton's hot summers once the condenser is dirty or a fan is slowing. A cleaning and a fan check often bring it back. If the unit sits in direct sun, shade or a better spot can matter as much as any part. -
Should we shut the patio unit off for the winter?
That is up to you. If you do, empty it, leave the door slightly open so it does not grow mildew, and keep the grille clear. When you restart it in spring, give it a day to settle, and call us if it does not reach temperature. -
Can you work on a unit built into an outdoor kitchen island?
Yes. Island installs are often tight, and the unit may need to slide out for us to reach the condenser or the back panel. Tell us how it is set in when you book, and our technician will come ready to pull it out and set it back carefully.
