  • Inverter supply failure after enclosure overheating. A Panasonic NE's inverter board naturally runs hot, and a built-in cabinet lacking real exhaust out at a guest house or pool house bakes it slowly, the same as it would back in the main kitchen. Swapping the board without addressing clearance and airflow just sets the replacement up to cook out on the same timeline. I log the enclosure's clearance and airflow on the written report either way so it's on record.
  • Cavity arcing at the waveguide cover. A unit used mainly for entertaining still builds grease film on the mica cover once it handles butter and sauces for a full house of guests, and arcing follows. Running it produces a crackling sound and leaves brown scorch marks on the right interior wall of the cavity. Swapping the cover early keeps the job cheap. Wait until the waveguide flange starts pitting and the repair can cross into not being worth it, which I'll say plainly if that's where things stand.
  • Door misalignment after years of light but uneven use. A unit in a guest house or entertaining pantry gets opened by a lot of different hands over the years, staff, family, weekend guests, and the door takes lateral stress a single-household kitchen never gives it. Latch hooks wear at different rates, the door ends up sitting slightly proud, and the interlock switches start reading inconsistently. We realign the door, put in fresh latch hardware, and verify all three switches trip in the correct sequence.
