Bravos top-loader roaring in spin (tub bearing and seal). When a Bravos XL sounds like a jet on final approach during high spin, the tub seal has let water into the bearing. On Alamo machines that run big loads of horse blankets and kids' sports laundry, I see this at the eight to ten year mark. The fix is a bearing and seal kit with the tub pulled, about a two hour job. I quote it in writing first, because on some units replacement makes more sense and I will say so.
Centennial dryer runs but makes no heat (thermal fuse). The Centennial electric dryer pops its thermal fuse when airflow drops, and the long vent runs in Alamo's sprawling single-story homes clog faster than people expect. I replace the fuse, then check the vent restriction with a manometer, because a new fuse in a choked vent blows again in a month. If the vent needs professional cleaning I tell you and point you to someone who does it.
Washer stuck on sensing with the lid lock flashing (shift actuator). The shift actuator, part W10006355, moves the Bravos transmission between agitate and spin. When it fails the washer fills, clicks, and just sits there sensing. It is a fifteen dollar class part and I carry it on the van, so most of these calls in Alamo are fixed in one visit inside an hour.
