What we close on the truck.

Sediment-clogged inlet valve screens. Old building plumbing sheds rust and grit that packs the water inlet valve screen. Fill volumes drop, the machine makes a partial slab, and eventually it faults on fill time. We clean or replace the valve, flush the line, and add a sediment filter sized for the supply so this stops being an annual event.
Slow refrigerant leaks showing as thin bottom cubes. A low charge freezes the top of the evaporator fine and starves the bottom, so the lowest rows of cubes come out small or hollow. That pattern is a leak until proven otherwise. We find it with electronic detection, repair the joint, and recharge to the nameplate. As an EPA 608 Universal shop we handle the refrigerant legally and document it.
Intermittent control faults from temperature swings. Machines in breezeways and covered patios throw codes that clear themselves, which is the most frustrating failure for an owner. The Indigo NXT keeps a history even after the fault clears, and reading that history is how we catch a flaky sensor or connection without waiting around for the machine to act up.
