Gasket torn at the corner near the hinge. The gasket corner by the hinge flexes every time the door opens, and on a busy family column it is often the first place to split. Cold air leaks out, frost gathers at the tear and the compressor runs longer. We match the replacement gasket to the model number before ordering, since sizes vary between columns.
Touch controls that stop responding. When the display lights up but ignores a press, the fault can be the touch panel, the ribbon connection behind it or the control board. We check the connection and the supply voltage first. A reseated connector or a new display panel costs far less than a full control board, and we only order the board if the tests point there.
