Lennox in San Leandro
Lennox heating and cooling in San Leandro.
San Leandro is older East Bay housing, a lot of 1920s through 1950s homes in neighborhoods like Estudillo, Broadmoor and Bal, with smaller tract sections toward the bay flats. The climate is bay-moderated so it stays cooler than inland, but the inland edge warms up enough that owners add cooling. I see Lennox systems in the homes that have been modernized, often a heat pump retrofit or a furnace-and-condenser upgrade.
ADRIUM runs HVAC through Bay Area HVAC Service. I am EPA Section 608 Universal certified and we carry CSLB 1136642. You get a written quote, the $99 diagnostic is credited toward the repair, and we work 7 days.
Lennox gives you real efficiency and the equipment performs well in a San Leandro home. My honest note is the parts channel. Lennox restricts its proprietary boards and modules to its dealer network, so a Lennox-specific control can take longer and cost more than the Carrier or Trane part. With the bay air near the flats I also watch the outdoor unit for corrosion, and I factor the parts timeline into the estimate so nothing surprises you.

Common repairs we handle.
- Heat pump defrost board failing in mild damp climate. The bay-moderated damp here runs the Lennox heat pump through frequent defrost cycles and the defrost control board fails, so the outdoor coil ices and the unit loses heating capacity. I confirm the defrost sensor and board logic before ordering the dealer-restricted part.
- Furnace retrofit airflow problems in old ductwork. When a new Lennox furnace goes into an older San Leandro home, the original undersized ducts choke the variable blower and the system throws airflow faults. I measure static pressure and correct the duct restriction rather than letting the blower fight bad ducts.
- Condenser contactor and capacitor wearing near the flats. The bay-flat homes get salt-tinged air and the XC condenser contactor and capacitor wear faster, so the unit fails to start. I replace both as a set and clean the coil and check the fan motor while I am in the cabinet.

How long is the drive from San Ramon to San Leandro
From San Ramon I take 580 west down into San Leandro, about 25 to 40 minutes depending on traffic. San Leandro neighbors Oakland, Hayward and Alameda, all of which we serve, so a San Leandro call pairs easily with an Oakland or Hayward visit. -
My old home has small ducts. Will a new Lennox blower work with them
Not without checking. A variable Lennox blower can overwhelm undersized old ducts and short its own life. I measure the static pressure first and tell you honestly if the ducts need work to run the new system right. -
What warranty do I get on a full Lennox install
A full install is backed 10 years parts, labor 2 years standard (10 years on our maintenance plan) through us. The Lennox equipment warranty runs separately under its own terms. You get all of it in writing with the quote.
