Fridge running warm despite a normal-reading display. Usually a control board or a sensor problem, not the compressor. I test both before I recommend replacing a board.
Door seal and gasket wear on older standalone units. A soft or torn gasket lets warm air in around the clock, and the fridge runs harder to compensate. Straightforward parts replacement once I confirm that's actually the source of the problem.
