- Monogram built-in refrigerator not cooling. On Monogram ZISS and ZIC360 built-ins the usual suspects are the main control board, the evaporator fan, or a failing sealed system. I check the board and fan first because they are cheap relative to the box. If it is refrigerant, I am 608 Universal certified, so sealed system work is done in-house, not subbed out. On a $10,000 cabinet-depth unit that repair pays for itself.
- GE Profile wall oven not heating or throwing F-codes. Atherton remodels love double wall ovens, and GE Profile PT9550 and JTD5000 units fail at the control board and the relay board more than at the elements. An F90 or F97 code usually points to the cooling fan or its sensing circuit. I bring common GE oven boards and thermostats on the van, so most of these are one-visit fixes.
- Compact and undercounter GE fridges in guest quarters. Guest houses and pool cabanas here run compact GE and Monogram undercounter refrigerators and beverage centers. These small sealed systems die quietly, and the unit often sits warm for weeks before anyone notices. I test the compressor start relay and the thermostat first. When the compressor itself is gone on a basic compact unit, I will tell you replacement is cheaper, in writing.
