Leak search with nitrogen and soap. Before any brazing, we pressurize the line set with nitrogen and go over the joints and tubing with a soap-bubble test. Every leak source gets mapped first. Fixing one pinhole and missing a second means paying for the same labor twice.
Evaporator and filter-drier replacement on a column. When the leak is in the evaporator, we recover the remaining charge, replace the evaporator along with a new filter-drier, braze, pull a vacuum and recharge. Our technician is EPA 608 Type I certified for that work.
Gallery French-door display acting up. A display that freezes, throws an error or ignores temperature changes can be the main control board, a sensor or the wiring between them. We check the sensor readings and connections before replacing a board.
