- Slow refrigerant leak on a Professional column. The compressor runs longer and longer to hold temperature as the charge bleeds down, until one day it can't keep up. We recover what's left, pressure-test to find the leak, replace the failed section, braze in new line, evacuate, and recharge. This is the actual repair on a Frigidaire Professional column, models like the FPRU19F8RF included.
- Control board or icemaker on the column. Same as any built-in: a dead icemaker module or an erratic control board reads like a bigger problem than it is. We test each part on its own so you're not paying to replace a board that was never the issue.
- Standard top-freezer and side-by-side: not a repair we take. This is the Frigidaire in most Park Street and Webster rentals, and it's a permanent policy, not a slow week. These sell new for a few hundred dollars, a compressor or control-board swap routinely costs more than the fridge is worth, and we'd rather say that up front than run a bill on a machine that's cheaper to replace.
