Every fridge with a dispenser or ice maker has a water inlet valve. The fittings can leak under the cabinet, or the solenoid fails and the dispenser and ice maker stop getting water.

Common repairs we handle.

Ice maker slowing down or stopping. On the EW28BS French door models, the ice maker assembly fails in a known way: the mold cracks, the fill tube ices over, or the motor seizes. Hard water scale can narrow the fill before any of that. We check the inlet valve and fill tube first, then replace the whole assembly from the kit we carry.
Refrigerator water inlet valve leaking or not opening. The inlet valve feeds the dispenser and the ice maker. Its fittings can leak onto the floor behind the refrigerator, or the solenoid can fail and stop the water entirely. We test the solenoid, check the screen for scale, and replace the valve if either has failed.
Front-load washer filling slowly. Each hot and cold hose connection has a small screen at the back of the washer. Hard water and pipe sediment build up there, and the washer takes longer to fill or shows a fill error. We clean or replace the screens, check the hoses, and test the inlet valves under a full fill.
