We stock the OEM boot in both 27-inch sizes and do the gasket in about 45 minutes. The drain pump is the second one. It grinds and stops draining when something hard gets past the filter. Up in the Hayward Hills above the CSU campus the kitchens go a tier higher, and that is where the Electrolux French-door ice-maker and the IQ-Touch wall oven show up alongside the laundry.

- Perfect Steam door boot. Cut at the bottom of the gasket from coins and underwire, then it leaks. OEM boot in both 27-inch sizes, roughly a 45-minute job.
- Washer drain pump. Grinds and stops draining when something hard gets past the filter. We pull it, clean the impeller, replace the bearing if it is gone.
- Dryer heating element. No heat or weak heat on a vented model. We meter the element and thermal fuses, then check the vent run.
- Front-load drum bearings. Loud roar that gets worse on spin. Bearing-and-seal job we do on the truck schedule once parts are in hand.
