What we repair on the bench.

Scaled up machine that pours slow. Hard Diablo Valley water builds mineral inside the boiler and the group, which chokes flow and drops brew temperature. We run a full descale, flush the group and the solenoid, replace gaskets hardened by scale, and check the flow rate so the machine pours at full pressure again. If the descale routine on the panel is stuck, we clear it.
Pump straining and pressure fading. When scale and a tired vibration pump combine, the pump works harder and the pressure creeps down over weeks. We read the pressure at the group, decide whether the pump or the OPV is the cause, and replace the pump when it can no longer hold 9 bar under load.
Machine slow to heat or not heating. A heating element coated in scale takes longer to reach temperature and can trip the thermal cutout. We test the element and the cutout, descale or replace the heating circuit as needed, and confirm the machine reaches brew and steam heat on time.
