What we repair on the bench.

Dual Boiler that heats for seconds then stops. When a Breville heats briefly then cuts its own power, the thermal cutout has tripped to protect the machine. A failing thermostat or a bad heating element connection is usually behind it. We test the element, the cutout, and the control board, replace the failed part, and confirm the machine holds both brew and steam temperature before we leave.
Weak pressure or a gushing shot. If the shot pours thin or the pump sounds strained, the vibration pump or the over pressure valve (OPV) has drifted. We check static pressure at the group, clean or reset the OPV, and replace the pump when it can no longer pull full pressure, so the machine settles back near 9 bar.
Grinder that will not hold a dose. The built in grinder on an Oracle loses consistency as the burrs wear, and you end up chasing the grind every morning. We inspect the conical burrs, clear packed grounds from the chute, reset the top burr alignment, and fit new burrs when they are past their life.
