I check the tank fit against the base first, since that costs nothing to fix, and only replace the sensor if the tank is seating correctly and the fault persists.
- Grinder dosing too much or too little. On the Oracle the grinder doses by time, so a burr set that has worn down delivers less coffee per second at the same setting, and the shot drifts under-extracted over months without anyone touching the dial. I check burr wear and reset the dose to match the beans you're actually using, not just the factory setting.
