Oracle powers on, then runs cold. The thermal cutout on a boiler trips when the element overheats, often from scale or a dry start. We test the cutout, the element's resistance and the temperature sensor, then run the machine through several heat cycles to confirm it holds brew and steam temperature.
Oracle grinder stalls on a stone or a clump of oily beans. A small stone or a clump of oily beans can wedge between the Oracle's burrs and stop the motor. We clear the jam, check the burrs for chips, and test the motor under load. A chipped burr gets replaced, and a motor that draws too much current goes on the quote.
Water under the Oracle once it heats up. A leak that starts only after heat-up can come from a boiler fitting, a relief valve venting, or a hose that splits when it warms and expands. We run the machine hot on the bench with the covers off, find the leak, and replace the seal or hose.
