E24 drain faults with a healthy pump. Between air gaps, high loops, and older galvanized drain stubs, San Leandro drain paths clog outside the machine as often as inside it. I test the pump directly, then trace the hose, air gap, and tailpiece. You get charged for what actually failed, and the written quote names it.
Recirculation pump whine in remodel-era units. The 800 Series machines installed during the 2014 to 2018 remodel wave are now hitting bearing age. The main wash gets louder month over month until the pump seizes. Caught at the whine stage it is a clean swap of the pump and sump assembly with a 90-day warranty on the work (one year on inverter boards).
