Record where the temperature is different. Is the top shelf warm while the lower drawers feel normal? Are all areas warm? Door alignment and gasket observations

Look along the gasket with the door closed. Check for crumbs, dried residue, a fold, or a section that does not sit against the cabinet. Clean only the accessible gasket surface with the method approved in the owner guide. Do not use a sharp object to pull the gasket into place.

Watch how the door closes. A door that rebounds, drifts open, rubs against the panel, or sits lower on one side can create a seal complaint. Condensation or frost near the edge can follow a door that remained open. It can also indicate that the gasket or alignment needs attention. Record the location and take a photo. Do not thaw a localized area with a hair dryer or heat gun.

Reading temperature and alarm behavior

If the column shows a high-temperature or open-door warning, save the exact wording and icon. Note whether it appeared after cleaning, loading, a power event, or an extended door opening. Use the normal acknowledgment procedure from the correct guide, then watch whether the warning returns.

Silencing an alarm is not the same as correcting the condition. A column that returns to normal after the door is closed may have experienced a simple exposure event. A warning that returns with the door closed needs a service record that includes the interval, the displayed setting, and the measured symptom.
