Looking for same-day appliance repair in the Tri-Valley? Here’s how we run the call and what you can honestly expect.
Same or Next-Day — What That Means
We dispatch across Danville, San Ramon, Alamo, and Walnut Creek. We’ll get you on the schedule fast, often same or next morning when we can. We confirm a 2-3 hour arrival window by text, and the tech calls 15-20 minutes out. Our vans carry parts for Whirlpool, Samsung, LG, GE, Bosch, and most other major brands, so the majority of calls close on the first visit. Completed repairs come with a 1-year warranty (see your contract terms).
Common Problems and Why They’re Pro Jobs
Refrigerator not cooling. Could be the evaporator fan, a dirty condenser coil, or a sealed-system failure. You can unplug and brush the condenser coils yourself. Anything beyond that, including anything involving refrigerant, requires EPA-certified recovery equipment and shouldn’t be attempted without it.
Washer not draining or spinning. Usually a blocked pump filter or a worn drive belt. Reaching either one means disassembling the machine, and reassembling it incorrectly causes leaks or secondary damage.
Oven not heating. Typically a bake element or control board. Both involve disconnecting high-voltage wiring. Getting it wrong is a fire hazard.
Dishwasher leaking. Usually a door gasket or pump seal. The repair isn’t complicated, but sourcing the right part for your model and fitting it properly takes time and experience.
Before calling: check the breaker, confirm the settings, and clear any obvious blockages. If that doesn’t do it, stop there. Incorrect DIY repairs almost always cost more to undo than the original job.
