FAQ

Common questions.

How much does GE appliance troubleshooting cost?
We charge a flat $75 service call that covers coming out and fully diagnosing the unit, and we waive it when you book the repair. You get a written estimate before any work starts, so there are no surprises.
Can I troubleshoot my GE appliance myself?
Some of it, yes. Reseating a control board connector, clearing a clogged drain, or swapping a water filter are owner-level. Sealed-system cooling faults, inverter boards, and anything behind the rear panel need a tech with a meter and the right gauges, and the sealed system legally needs EPA certification.
Is my GE appliance covered?
If the unit is still under GE factory warranty, warranty service goes through GE directly. Outside warranty, we handle it: the visit is a flat $75 diagnostic, and we waive it when you book the repair with us. You get a written estimate before any work starts.
Do you service all GE appliance models?
Yes. We cover the full GE range across the Bay Area, including Monogram, Profile, Cafe, and standard GE refrigerators, ovens, ranges, dishwashers, and washers. Sealed-system rebuilds on Monogram fridges are a regular job for us and we are EPA-certified for that work.
